The company holds comprehensive stock which is increased to accommodate the ever increasing demand from our customers. Our ability to procure at competitive pricing and the short lead times has enabled us to render a superior level of service to our customer. The company has a healthy working relationship with mutually beneficial payment terms with suppliers.

Our staff are committed to the "Do it right the 1st time" principle. In addition we have checks in place to ensure that we do, "do it right the 1st time". To improve the service delivery and other efficiencies SA Tool relocated to bigger office and warehousing facility in March 2009. Our operation is run from a site near OR Tambo International Airport and is very accessible via the highway network of the R21, N1 and N3.








The human capital of SA Tool is by far our biggest asset within the company and it makes sense that the company's aim is to develop its employees to their full potential.


Management at SA Tool believe and subscribe to the philosophy of providing a better life for all its employees, in particular the previously disadvantaged grouping. To this end the company sold 26% of its shares to a black partner in 2005. While the Company enjoys a high rating of Level 4, SA Tool constantly strives to improve the rating by implementing BBBEE initiatives.



The company has developed an Employment Equity plan which aims to develop and train all its employees and help them establish careers within SA Tool. In 2008 an Employment Equity Committee was established and they meet on a regular basis. They are responsible for monitoring the progress of the Employment Equity plan



Technologically Advanced Procurement Systems

SA Tool has had a fully computerised system since 1985.The 60 plus user network is built on high- end robust and reliable HP business network and server platforms with offsite back-up procedures to ensure business availability and continuity. In October 2011 SA Tool implemented a world leading software system which has added to SA Tool's ability to deliver an even more superior service to our clients.
